The appointment of a HSR provides a job site with a formalised approach to achieving fair and effective workplace representation, consultation, co-operation and issue resolution in relation to work health and safety.

You and your workers are encouraged to participate in the election of a HSR, if a site requires one and nominate yourself or your peers for HSR.

If you’re not familiar with HSRs or Worker Consultation Meetings, ask your site supervisor or safety advisor.
