- Unless otherwise specified, the materials you use will be new and consistent with best industry standards.
- Your workmanship will be of a standard consistent with best industry standards.
- Work will be measured in accordance with the Australian Standard Method of Measurement of Building Works unless any equal or higher standard that is more suitable for the specific work prevails.
- You’ll check all relevant dimensions on site before starting work, don’t scale off drawings.
- The layout of plant, equipment, ductwork, pipework and cabling as shown any drawings will be taken as diagrammatic only. You need to get all measurements and other information required to carry out your work. You can’t claim costs for a stuff-up that is the result of failing to get measurements and other information on site.
- We might ask you to open up for inspection any work carried out, and to postpone further work until the results of the tests or investigations are known.
- You will control, calibrate and maintain all inspection, measuring and test equipment that checks conformance to specified quality requirements or is used in environmental and/or safety monitoring.
